Cuan Wildlife Rescue are an independent charity that has been operating in excess of 30 years to provide care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds to rehabilitate them back into the wild admitting over 4800 per year. The new charity shop branch in Shrewsbury represents an expansion from the main hospital in Much Wenlock.
Sean Nicholas of Cuan Wildlife Rescue said ‘Shropshire is very much an ecologically erudite and rural community, need for our services is very much in constant demand, the cases and incidents we encounter are diverse and in some instances entirely
unique, we are very pleased to be opening a second charity shop within the heart of Shrewsbury to provide another outlet to support our continued work’.
Lizzy McNally, Surveyor at Cooper Green Pooks who negotiated the letting said ‘Cuan Wildlife are a well-respected and well
regarded charity and we are pleased they have elected to expand into Shrewsbury Town Centre. Working with our landlord client and Cuan Wildlife, we were able to agree a mutually beneficial refurbishment of the property resulting in this letting.’
