Cooper Green Pooks report that their clients Alaska Property Group have two more office projects underway at Shrewsbury Business Park [SY2 6LG], the 30 acre office development on the eastern side of the town next to the A5 trunk road.
Following the successful development of office space for Handelsbanken and Pure Telecom last year construction is now underway on the adjoining building at Plot 23 which will offer about 350 sq m (4,000 sq ft) as two storey offices and will be ready for occupation in the summer.
In the meantime planning permission has been granted for a larger office building totalling about 1,061 sq m (11,400 sq ft). Designed by local architects, DGA, it enjoys extensive views to the Shropshire Hills overlooking one of the Park’s balancing ponds. The building will provide workspace for about 75 people and will have about 48 parking spaces. Subject to contract terms being confirmed for leasing or freehold sale, it is anticipated that the offices can be ready in the New Year, 2017 and as such can offer potential buyers or tenants a quick occupation timetable.
