New Retailer In Popular Frankwell

Cooper Green Pooks Commercial Property Consultants of Shrewsbury report the recent letting of 127a Frankwell, Shrewsbury, SY3 8JU to Anne Reeves Jewellery Limited.

Prominently situated overlooking the Welsh Bridge, the shop, which is arranged on three levels totalling about 120 sq m, has been let on a new six year lease and the asking rent was £8,000 pa.

For the past 10 years Anne Reeves has been growing her business, trading from her garage at home. Now employing two members of staff and finding 127a Frankwell, it was the perfect time to expand.

Anne said “We were delighted when we found the Premises at Frankwell. It is in a fabulous location just over the Welsh Bridge, in a historic part of town, and was perfect to run both businesses from, with plenty of room for expansion. We aim to run both businesses from the premises at Frankwell. Our main business is Anne Reeves Jewellery Limited – I design and produce a range of contemporary solid silver jewellery. Also, we will be running our other business, Joolify, from the property. Joolify is a Jewellers Supplies Company, selling chains, findings, beads, packaging and display items for professional jewellers and hobbyists. Both businesses have an established online presence, and these will be run from Frankwell, with the Showroom incorporating both brands. I will also be designing and making there, and will have my silversmithing bench set up in the shop, so I can work and serve at the same time. As well as my set range, I also undertake commissions for clients, and I have a range of personalised jewellery that is made to order and has been really popular online.’
