RENOWNED BRAND COMES TO SHREWSBURY’S SQUARE
Cooper Green Pooks Commercial Property Consultants of Shrewsbury report the recent letting of the former Jaeger store, 9 The Square, Shrewsbury at an asking rent of £52,500 pa.
Luxury brand Barbour, a favourite amongst celebrities, royalty and the country set, is the latest addition to The Square’s retail offering. The brand was once the uniform of rural aristocracy but now has a growing celebrity fan base including the Duchess of Cambridge, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, Bond star Daniel Craig and fashionista Alexa Chung.
The 1,500 sq ft store will house Barbour’s key collections and will bring seven new jobs to the town. Barbour is a partner business of Outdoor and Country, and founder, Jonathan Capener, said: “I’m really excited to reveal plans for our Barbour partner store in Shrewsbury.
